02D/01N: Trek – Kayak Overnight in Bungalow
Trekking Viet Hai Natural Park and kayak cave and lagoons of Lan Ha Bay. Immerse yourself in the deepest, most remote depths of Cat Ba National Park with this tour. The four hour hike to Viet Hai Village will bring you the feeling of being in the middle of no-where. Experience the wild animals and natural forest, as well as having interaction with local people in the remote area of the island. Experience life on water of local fishermen within the floating fishing village of Cai Beo. We get on the junk and sail to our private beach and overnight in superior bungalow.  On day two we get on the kayaks and visit the caves and lagoons of Cat Ba Bay.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 01: Trek crossing Cat Ba National Park and Cruising through Lan Ha bay

8:00 Am: Pick up at hotel in Cat Ba town and transfer to the entrance gate of Cat Ba National Park. Follow the mountain path across Cat Ba Biosphere Reserve to get to Viet Hai village. Have lunch at “Whispering Nature”, a locally run restaurant.  After lunch, you have the option of walking around and enjoying village life or taking a two hour hike up into the stunning National Park for some great panoramic views and photograph opportunities of Ha Long bay. Easy walk out to Viet Hai quay to catch boat transfer to Cai Beo floating village to enjoy a small kayaking tour around this charming village to witness life on water of local fishermen. Transfer to Bungalow on Beach Check in, relaxing and swimming. Dinner at bungalow- This sets the scene for a delicious dinner.

Day 02: Lan Ha bay – Cat Ba island

8:30am: After breakfast at the restaurant on the private island, we will paddle across the bay to visit Thung Cave if tides permitting. We then enjoy a trekking tour to reach sunset beach. We will be back to restaurant to having lunch on the island. After lunch we head to Tran Chau pier to catch the transport back to Hanoi (Express bus or Private transfer).
